Knife Rights and its fellow appellants have filed a petition for rehearing En Banc (the full court) of the twisted decision by the Ninth Circuit Panel in their lawsuit challenging California’s ban on switchblade (automatic) knives with a blade 2 inches and greater on Second Amendment grounds.

The petition argues that the panel disregarded binding U.S. Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit precedent by transforming California’s categorical ban into a fabricated concealed-carry law, then deciding the case solely on that invented theory while ignoring the full scope of the challenged ban. It further failed to properly apply Heller and Bruen in its Second Amendment analysis.”

Since 2010 Knife Rights’ efforts have resulted in 58 bills & court decisions repealing knife bans & protecting knife owners in 36 states and over 200 cities and towns! Knife Rights is America’s grassroots knife owners’ organization; leading the fight to Rewrite Knife Law in America and forging a Sharper Future for all AmericansKnifeRights: Petition for Rehearing En Banc of 9th Cir. Decision Filed.

this is a procedural step, hopefully the full court will hear, and ultimately rule in favor of Knife Rights.
