Civivi’s new Elite line is an interesting gambit. It comes on the heels of a blade show conversation I had with a rep friend from a Chinese company. He had just explained to me that there is a donut hole for Chinese import knives. They are killing it at the Sub-$100 level, and again at the $300+ premium level. But $200 Chinese knives don’t sell well. This is the heart of what Civivi is trying to break into. We shall see.
