Day 2 of SHOT Show is now wrapping up, with lots to talk about – but for today we’ll focus on the new for 2026 Benchmade lineup, which stars a revised version of the beloved Bugout folder and a renewed emphasis on food prep knives.

Aluminum/MagnaCut Bugout

Benchmade’s lightweight wonder is now even lighter, and even thinner too. The Aluminum Bugout is, according to the Blue Butterfly, 33% thinner than the already svelte OG. Aluminum isn’t the only new metal on this model either – the blade here is made from MagnaCut for high-level, current-gen performance.

Wildcoast

The first of the new Benchmade kitchen knives, the Wildcoast has a modified clip blade running to 6.83 inches and made from a stalwart powder metallurgy formula, CPM-154. Positioned as a camp kitchen knife, the Wildcoast can be read as a sequel of sorts to the Station Knife.

Chef Knife

Similar to, but different from, the Wildcoast, the new Benchmade Chef Knife is the stay-at-home companion to that blade. It has, in fact, been in the company’s lineup for a while now, but only as part of a 3-piece set; now it’s available on its own.

True Paring Knife

The name tells you everything you need to know here. The True Paring Knife takes the modified clip blade shape seen on the Wildcoast and scales it down considerably, resulting in a highly maneuverable 4.12-inch detail knife.

Fishcrafter 5”

Last but not least (especially for the anglers in the audience) comes the newest member of the Fishcrafter family. This is a dedicated filet knife, with a flexible 5-inch trailing point blade. And, because this is a Benchmade knife and not something plucked off the rack at a big box store, the blade steel is MagnaCut.
