Almost one year ago, the Ruger & Magpul RXM was released to the public! Combining the modularity of a separate serialized trigger pack Ruger calls the Fire Control Insert with the durability and reputation of a Glock 19 Gen 3 clone, the RXM was a step forward in pistol innovation during a time when it feels like no one is really innovating much of anything.
Ruger and Magpul promised that more grip modules and slides would be coming for the RXM, even announcing full-size grip modules at SHOT 2025. It took a year, but they are finally here. Introducing Magpul RXM Full-Size grip modules!

Available (in theory) in 4 color options (Black, Gray, OD Green, and FDE), the RXM full-size modules use Glock 17 size magazines and are obviously compatible with Magpul’s PMAG 17 magazines.
MSRP is just $40 for the grip module. These grips are compatible with standard RXM slides and are a drop-in replacement for the OEM compact grip. Longer G17-sized slides are not yet available from Ruger, but there are aftermarket options.
At time of writing, all 4 color options are sold out due to Black Friday, but restock should be coming soon to the Magpul website and dealers across the nation.

Magpul also claims that the sub-compact G26-sized RXM grips will be releasing in the coming weeks.
Take a look at our full review of the RXM published last year! Overall, we really like the RXM. It’s a good shooter, the optic mount gives a ton of options and is securely built, and the promise of future options makes the entire platform a good ecosystem to buy into. Now that Magpul has finally released the full-size grips, we’re excited to see what comes next.
