Tillamook County, Ore., is a popular outdoor recreation destination, and now it is also the source of a pending criminal trial. A man was recently arrested for allegedly attempting to kidnap and sexually assault two women in a local campground. According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Gene Arnold McLenithan, 58, of Salem, Oregon, was arrested on May 28. He has been charged by criminal complaint with kidnapping and attempted abusive sexual contact.
