Spyderco Product Reveal Numero 21 is here. At the blackjack table that would probably net you some cash; when it comes to Spydero Reveals it means you get special editions of well-known Spydie models as well as some brand new fixed blades.

50th Anniversary Native 5

With five decades in the biz under the belt, it’s no surprise to see Spyderco celebrating with some fancied up pieces – including this handsome version of the Native 5, with Spyder logo bolster, amber bone scales, and S90V blade steel.

Yurco Ginunting

Knife maker Mickey Yurco joins Spyderco for the first time this year, and he did not hold back with his first collab. Behold the Ginunting, Yurco’s take on a traditional Filipino sword, scaled down (somewhat!) to an 8-inch blade. The curving wharncliffe shape is indicative of the form and, here, is made from 9Cr18MoV.

Sage 5 Salt

We’d bet that the Salt line has never been more popular since MagnaCut became its de facto steel. The venerable Sage 5 is now a part of these rust-resistant series, and comes with the MagnaCut blade and yellow/black G-10 scales. If you want something lower-key there is also a blacked out model as well.

Yojumbo in SPY27

The name says it all. The Yojumbo, aptly-named larger version of Michael Janich’s Yojimbo design, is being initiated into Spyderco’s SPY27 line. That means a blade made from the company’s proprietary powder metallurgy steel and blue scales so that it matches its stablemates.

Smock Sprint Run

Speaking of special steels and their correlating scales, Kevin Smock’s Smock folder returns with a CPM REX121 blade and burnt orange scales in this new Sprint.

Skoli

…But Smock also has a brand new Spyderco collab on the way, and this time it’s a mid-sized outdoors fixed blade called the Skoli. It’s got a robust 4.68-inch drop point blade made from 9Cr18MoV steel, and stippled G-10 scales secured to its full tang with big star-bossed bolts.
