An Oregon initiative petition that could effectively criminalize hunting and fishing has cleared a major early hurdle. Initiative Petition 28, formally called the People for the Elimination of Animal Cruelty Exemptions Act, or PEACE Act, has submitted more raw signatures than it needs to qualify for Oregon’s 2026 ballot. That doesn’t (yet) mean voters will definitely see it in November. The Oregon Elections Division’s May 29 submission log lists IP28 with 126,115 signatures received. Every experienced fly angler has a list of their favorite rods ever created. These are specific models, no matter how old and outdated, that, for whatever reason, spoke to you as an angler. From bears becoming food-habituated to traffic collisions with elk, outdoor recreation has always posed a thorny problem. How can people enjoy the great outdoors without harming or interfering with wildlife? The National Park Service (NPS) has been working for decades to reduce human–wildlife conflicts. Now it’s got a new recruit: a specially trained dog named Blue. She is a certified Catahoula Leopard Hound who recently started working at Grand Canyon National Park to help shepherd wildlife away from busy visitor areas. Rampart Range Day 26 – DNS Alpha This is the latest incarnation of the DNS Alpha GORE-TEX coverall but beefed up as an overgarment for freefall parachuting. It also includes a removable insulated liner. The rear incorporates stretch panels. This image offers a good view of the sleeve and thigh pockets as well as Velcro fields to attach equipment. Here you can see the full length zippers, thigh stretch panels, and internal booties. And finally the left upper quadrant of the coveralls. I’d call it a Fallschirmspringeranzug.
