As I make my way around a hairpin left, a 30-degree slope enters my vision. Undeterred, I turn on X-mode and start to ascend. The Dunlop Grandtrek all-terrain tires momentarily slip and strain as I climb. By Cory Ross Posted in #Guns #History The renowned M14 service rifle has a complex history: it was the U.S. military’s shortest-lived service rifle yet one of the longest in service. While its time as a standard-issue rifle for G.I.s was brief, its power and performance have ensured its continued use as a sniper and Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR), cementing its legacy. In fact, while the M14 initially served as the primary service rifle in the dense jungles of Vietnam, it was also there that it earned its place among the pantheon of American sniper rifles. Vietnam…

One of the classic ways to carry your EDC tools is on your keychain. It makes sense, since you likely carry your keys with you all (or most) of the time anyway. There’s a whole world of keychain sized tools out there; everything from flashlights, to pens, pry bars, and of course knives. I have carried a full keychain EDC before, but don’t currently. I find that it becomes cumbersome quickly, and isn’t such a great look to have a big tangle of metal clinking and swinging around. Still, I do keep a few things other than keys on my…

Boker has once again renovated a traditional pocket knife for 2026. The Modern Club Knife is another historic jack knife pattern spruced up with all the modern EDC knife fixings.
