CRKT has boosted their lineup with some new product variations ahead of the big show next week – that’s Blade Show in Atlanta if you’re new around here. The fresh options are gracing two very popular model lines.

New Squid IIs

Lucas Burnley is a force to be reckoned with in both the custom and production arenas – and when it comes to pieces in the latter category, the Squid series is a true heavy hitter. The originally model garnered accolades and sales with its quirky but practical look and rugged build. The Squid II, a larger sequel, followed in due time, and that’s the version that’s getting the expanded options today.

Two different wood scale options, to be precise. For those who favor the lighter hues there’s olive wood, with its handsome blonde coloration; if you prefer something in somberer tones, the santos mahogany option provides that, as well as a black blade coating. And as a reminder, these are premium Squid II models with M390 blade steel.

Limited Run Minimalist Nessmuk

Alan Folts’s Minimalist Nessmuk fixed blade is also getting a new wood scale option. The Minimalist line has been a staple in the CRKT catalog for years, but the Nessmuk variant appeared just last year. Dark gray/bronze hues are on the menu – and by “on the menu” we mean “in these stabilized wood scales. A black stonewash has been applied over the 12C27N blade, and the included fob and lanyard cords are both in a bronze color to compliment the rest of this special edition’s look.

These new variants are available now and will certainly be making an appearance next week in Atlanta.
