The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team (USSS) will have a fresh line of gear when it hits the slopes at the next Olympic Games. The North Face (TNF) announced an 8-year partnership today as the official performance apparel sponsor of the USSS. The legacy outdoor brand will outfit athletes in specially designed “cutting-edge” uniforms for both the 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in the French Alps and the 2034 Games in Salt Lake City.

Leadership for both organizations called it a milestone.

“We were looking for a partner that shares our commitment to performance, innovation, and the athlete experience, and The North Face stood out immediately,” Sophie Goldschmidt, president and CEO of USSS, told GearJunkie. “Their heritage in mountain sports and focus on product innovation uniquely position them to support our teams at the highest level.”

In addition to designing the athletes’ uniforms, TNF will produce a commercially available line of USSS-inspired apparel. Fans wanting to rep U.S. Olympic skiers and riders can get their hands on it next fall.

The gear TNF is designing for the USSS team will include outerwear, such as jackets and pants. But it will also comprise base layers, midlayers, training apparel, and luggage to support “the full year-round lifecycle of U.S. Ski & Snowboard,” according to the brand.

“We’re proud to support the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team across the full athlete journey — from training and travel to competition and recovery — so they can perform at their full potential,” Ryan Shultz, director of global strategy at TNF, told GearJunkie.

Throughout the 2030 and 2034 Games, athletes will wear TNF gear across all 11 ski and snowboard disciplines: alpine, cross-country, freeski, freestyle moguls, freestyle aerials, nordic combined, Para alpine, Para nordic, Para snowboard, ski jumping, and snowboarding. Their coaches and team staff will also be outfitted in TNF gear.

The TNF team-focused kit will leverage all of the brand’s proprietary material technologies and design techniques. The kit will feature TNF’s Futurelight waterproof fabric, its Cloud Down insulation, Futurefleece, DotKnit, and DryVent technologies, as well as GORE-TEX.

“Our athletes are excited to be supported by a brand that truly understands the demands of performing in the mountains at the highest level,” Goldschmidt said.

Along with outfitting athletes, coaches, and USSS staff with cool gear, TNF is also launching a kit for fans who want to rep their Ski & Snowboard team. It includes several Base Camp Hoody prints featuring the USSS logo and ski graphics. There are also USSS T-shirts, ballcaps, and beanies.

TNF even made a line of ski and travel luggage. The bootbag features a handy compartment for your helmet, gloves, and other small items. The ski bag has roller wheels so you can fly through the airport. There’s also a travel duffel bag with shoulder straps so it can be worn as a backpack.

The entire collection will be available at once on the TNF website in fall 2026, according to the brand. Get yours and start getting hyped for the 2030 Winter Olympic Games.
