Kirk Mayberry of KM Designs has returned with another piece for the Boker Plus lineup which, like the universe itself, is always expanding. The Corvus honors its noble name with sensible EDC proportions and a stylish monochrome style.
Does the name of a knife inspire design, or does the way a knife looks bring it a name to match? The answer undoubtedly varies from knife to knife, and while we don’t know the specifics behind Mayberry’s Corvus design, the 2.76-inch wharncliffe blade looks pretty beak-like, doesn’t it? Regardless, it can do more than peck, with a straight edge that will slice finely, and one that is launched into the working position via a flipper tab on the spine.
KnifeNews has some pretty bad Pun headlines. This is among the worst. For those who don’t know, Corvidae is the family of birds that includes Rows and Ravens.
Cool knife though.
