Daniels Family Knife Brands has revealed their latest pattern under their Tuna Valley Cutlery Co. line of knives. This is the first new Tuna Valley pattern since 2021. The new “Mountain Cougar” is a single blade Swinguard style knife, a popular pattern among knife collectors across the US. This historic style pocketknife has been offered by many different US and English makers since the 19th century. The initial release from DFKB provided a variety of Curly Birch handles. New handle variations including stag, mammoth ivory, jigged bone, exotic woods, and different colors of acrylics are being planned, along with different blade shape profiles. All releases from DFKB are made of the highest quality materials and offered in low quantities to preserve the uniqueness and collectability of every knife.
