TTAG has boots on the ground at SHOT Show 2026 (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade show), and we were in attendance at Beretta’s private Range Day to check some of their new items as they celebrate their 500th Anniversary of being in business this year. The biggest announcement there was the new Beretta B22 Jaguar!

Beretta B22 Jaguar .22 Long Rifle

The newly debuted Beretta B22 Jaguar .22 Long Rifle isn’t a reproduction of their older Model 71 Jaguar; rather, it is something entirely new, fresh, and simply borrowing from that old moniker with a new name.

From the outset, Beretta has two offerings via this lineup in a Standard and Competition model. The MSRPs for each as well as features that both pistols share are listed below as presented by Beretta:

  • Ambidextrous Safety
  • Full-Length Picatinny Rail for Optics
  • M1913 Accessory Rail under barrel for Accessories
  • M-LOK slots on the 3 and 9 o’clock positions of forward Handguard
  • Aluminum Frame
  • Overall Weight: 26 Ounces
  • Overall Barrel Length: 5.25″ Threaded (1/2″ x 28 TPI)
  • MSRP Standard: $749
  • MSRP Competition: $969

The standard model B22 Jaguar can be seen below (with a few Range Day upgrades of a silencer and red dot), and the standard model will set you back $749 at full MSRP.

The Beretta B22 Jaguar Competition has some factory upgrades that are built into the design like a Steam Demon Compensator, Tandemkross Accelerator Thumb Ledge, and a Flat Faced Trigger for some additional features and benefits. It also dons a very unique colorway featuring multiple colors.

Final Thoughts

While shooting both of these models at the private Beretta Range Day, both the Standard and Competition model are tack-drivers. The Competition especially so! Whether that is due to the extra weight, the dexterity from the Tandemkross Accelerator Thumb Ledge or the recoil mitigation from the Steam Demon Compensator, it simply has no recoil and shoots like a dream.

As always, make sure to check back on TTAG as we are at SHOT Show 2026 all week, and we will be delivering you more news as it pours in! Make sure to let us know all of your thoughts about Beretta and their new B22 Jaguar in the comments below! We always appreciate your feedback.
