NEED TO KNOW
- Lynne Brennan, 53, was found dead in her New Hampshire home in 2010
- Police say she died of blunt-force trauma
- Authorities say they hope newly released video of her helps to find her killer
New information released about a 15-year-old cold case may help investigators find out who killed a New Hampshire mom.
On October 11, 2010, police were called to 267 North River Road in Manchester to perform a welfare check on Lynne Brennan, 53, who had not been seen in approximately one week, the New Hampshire Department of Justice said in a release.
When officers entered her home, they found the mother of three dead from blunt force trauma.
Brennan was last seen in public on October 4, 2010, at Bunny’s Superette at 75 Webster Street in Manchester around 3:29 PM.
It is believed she was killed sometime before Sunday, October 10, even though she was not discovered deceased until the following day.
Authorities released video (linked below) of Brennan buying milk and other items at the check-out counter of the store, hoping this could help lead authorities to her killer.

She appears calm as she speaks to the cashier and fishes in her purse for her wallet. She collects the bags and steers a shopping cart away from the counter before she disappears from view.

In 2018, Brennan’s sister spoke to WMUR about the senselessness of the murder.
“Why would anyone want to take her life?” Lisa Post told the outlet. “She was a good person. It’s unbearable sometimes and you know as the years go by, you try to find ways to cope and live with it, but it’s always there, ever present.”
