Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell told reporters on Tuesday, Jan. 13 that he didn’t want to speculate on the details surrounding Addison’s arrest.

“I don’t wanna speculate on that in any way, shape or form,” he said, CBS Sports reported. “I do think we’ve gotta get as many facts and find out exactly what happened. Speculating at this point would be incredibly premature for me.”

Addison’s representatives commented on the arrest in a post shared to X on Tuesday.

“On Jordan’s behalf, his legal team has already initiated the investigation, identified witnesses, and we are reviewing the viability of a claim for false arrest,” Younger & Associates wrote. “He looks forward to the legal process and upon full investigation, we are confident Mr. Addison will be exonerated.”

Addison was previously arrested on a DUI charge in 2024, which led to his suspension during the first three games of the 2025 NFL season, CBS Sports reported.
