  • “We saw both sides of it, and we came with our conclusions,” Juror 75 said in the Netflix docuseries, Sean Combs: The Reckoning
  • Combs, 56, is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence in New Jersey and is set to be released in June 2028

One of the 12 jurors who found Sean “Diddy” Combs guilty of two prostitution-related charges believes a fair verdict was delivered in the disgraced music mogul’s high-profile federal trial.

In the fourth and final episode of the new Netflix documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, two jurors talked about the trial and verdict, with Juror 75 saying he believes “100 percent” that justice was served.

“We saw both sides of it, and we came with our conclusions,” he said.

Juror 75 also shared his thoughts on the relationship between Combs and Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, the prosecution’s star witness. Ventura gave several days of testimony describing abuse and the elaborate sex performances with male sex workers that she said she was coerced into doing.

“That was a very interesting relationship,” he said. “Two people in love, you know, they are like overly in love. You cannot explain. She wanted to be with him. He took her for granted. He never thought that she’d leave.”

The juror added that he was confused by how quickly the couple seemed to reconcile. “The very next day … they’re getting back together and exchanging text messages like nothing ever happened.”

“He’s beating her, then next minute they’re going on dinners and trips. It’s just back and forth. If you don’t like something, you get out. You can’t have it both ways … have the luxury then complain about it? I don’t think so.”

When asked by producer off camera if Combs was a violent person, Juror 160 replied, “Based on that Intercontinental video, he can be. Unforgivable, honestly. You can’t beat that small girl like that, the way he did … but domestic violence wasn’t one of the charges.”

Regarding their prior knowledge of Combs, Juror 160 said she grew up listening to some of the music artists he was “involved” with but wasn’t a fan herself, while Juror 75 said he didn’t really know who Combs was, since he isn’t a music lover.

In the end, Combs, 56, was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He was handed down a 50-month prison sentence in October with credit for time served. The Bad Boy Records founder was arrested in September 2024 at a Manhattan hotel following a grand jury indictment and multiple raids on his homes.

Combs also faces multiple civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and related misconduct, which he has vehemently denied.

Netflix said in a press release that the documentary examines Combs’ rise to fame and subsequent downfall, including intimate footage shot with Combs’ knowledge and interviews with former associates and accusers.

Combs’ spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, has called the project a “shameful hit piece,” per a statement previously obtained by PEOPLE.

“As Netflix and CEO Ted Sarandos know, Mr. Combs has been amassing footage since he was 19 to tell his own story, in his own way. It is fundamentally unfair, and illegal, for Netflix to misappropriate that work,” Engelmayer said.

“For Netflix to give his life story to someone who has publicly attacked him for decades feels like an unnecessary and deeply personal affront,” he added, referencing longtime rival Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s role as a producer of the series.
