New York City police are searching for a suspect who killed a man and injured another in a shooting in Brooklyn.
The street attack occurred in Bushwick around 10 p.m. Monday, June 2.
“Upon arrival, officers observed a 39-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and a 63-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the right eye,” according to a New York Police Department press release.
Both men were taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where Ramel Fisher, 39, was pronounced dead.
The other victim, who has not been identified, is in stable condition, per the press release.

“There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing,” police said.
The motive behind the attack is unclear.
“It’s pretty shocking—it always feels pretty safe in the neighborhood, I would say,” a neighbor identified as Nico told News 12. “It’s not like it’s always quiet, but we’ve never felt unsafe.”
