It’s not the official Buck of the Month, but we do have a fresh, limited edition Buck drop in front of us in the form of the fourteenth Stealth Run piece. The team brought a new look and material suite to one of the newest folders in the Buck lineup, the Range Elite.

The Range models were a headline act for Buck at SHOT Show 2025. There was a time where Buck did not spend a lot of time in the modern folder genre; those days were long past when the Range models hit the scene, but full-featured folder families are always of interest to enthusiasts and it was hard not to be intrigued by the Ranges’ crossbar locks, rugged drop point blades, and current gen super steel favorite MagnaCut on the Elite models.

In fact, Buck did not mess with success when it came to the blade steel on this Stealth Run version, with the Paul Bos heat treat MagnaCut on tap once again. It is, however, dressed for the occasion with an Armor Black Cerakote; now, MagnaCut is not a steel prone to corrosion, but a Cerakote never hurts in that regard, and it pulls together the decidedly tactical, stealth espionage action look of this particular limited run version.

Prior flavors of Range Elite featured aluminum scales – an admirable choice to be sure, but not a showstopper material by and large. The Stealth Run Range Elite sports gold-threaded marbled carbon fiber scales and blacked out hardware instead. Speaking of hardware, the thumb stud is unique here as well, with a glow-in-the-dark tritium insert from Glow Rhino. Naturally this is a light and nimble piece with a listed weight of 3 oz.

The Stealth Run Range Elite is available now, limited to 1000 pieces.
