CRKT dropped a pretty eye-catching batch of new products this week, the limited edition Iridescent series. Included in this batch of collectible reskins is a fresh utility accessory from veteran CRKT designer Richard Rogers.

HangPry

This is a utility-oriented companion piece to the HangTi designed, as was the ‘Ti, by Richard Rogers. The HangTi was a small kiridashi made from titanium, but the ‘Pry, as the name would suggest, is not an edged implement at all, but rather a pocket prybar. Anybody who has spent some quality time in the knife enthusiast community will know how popular pocket prybars are as an additional EDC accessory.

The HangPry is also made from titanium, and of course it is flaunting the eye-catching, rainbow-hued TiNi coating that defines the whole Iridescent series, which includes:

Facet

Ken Onion’s production work is no stranger to multicolored styling, so it’s cool to see the sleek and useful Facet model get the TiNi treatment as well. But wait, there’s more: the Iridescent Facet is releasing with two different blade steels: either 12C27N, or 110-layer damascus for the collectors (or appreciators of wavy blades) out there.

Snap Lock

The quirky Iridescent series look pairs nicely with the quirky design of the Snap Lock, an Ed van Hoy piece that first hit the CRKT lineup in 2004, where it turned heads and won awards. The company brought it back into circulation more than a decade later, and now it is receiving this rainbow-ified limited edition.

HangTi

Last but not least, as we noted above, the Richard Rogers-designed HangTi single piece kiridashi joins its new baby brother in the Iridescent series. It is a super small, super light backup cutting tool, made entirely from titanium. There’s a worry stone quality to both the ‘Ti and the ‘Pry that is heightened even further by their new coat of paint.

The Iridescent models are available now.
