Since Polaris first started making snowmobiles in Minnesota back in 1954, the brand has become synonymous with backcountry exploration. That eventually expanded into off-road vehicles capable of soaring over rough terrain.

This December, however, the classic vehicle brand has a different activity in mind for its off-roaders: shooting machine guns and blowing stuff up.

Digital & Real World Off-Road Adventures

Polaris has teamed up with the creative team behind the mega-popular Call of Duty video game franchise for a novel marketing stunt. The brand’s newest vehicles — the Black Ops 7-Themed RZR Pro R 4 and Sportsman XP 1000 — are now playable in Season 01 of Call of Duty: Warzone.

As the below video shows, you’ll be able to catch air and chase your friends through off-road terrain using digital versions of the real vehicles. Moreover, Polaris wants gamers to have a chance at driving the real thing. A multiweek giveaway ends on Jan. 1, 2026, with some seriously awesome grand prizes: the actual Black Ops 7 limited-edition RZR Pro R 4 and Sportsman XP 1000 vehicles.

Until then, gamers can also compete for weekly prize bundles, including gaming products, coolers, hoodies, and more.

“Our goal has always been to connect the experience of Polaris performance with audiences who share our passion for exploration and adventure,” Holly Spaeth, vice president of Polaris Brand Marketing & Off-Road Vehicles, said in a press release. “Gaming is the next frontier of that mission and by partnering with Call of Duty, we’re inviting millions of players to experience the power and agility of Polaris vehicles in a new way.”

Polaris Giveaway: How It Works

Prior to the grand prizes, gamers have the chance to win one of four weekly prize bundles. The first will be given out on Thursday, Dec. 11, with subsequent bundles awarded each week.

The first bundle, for example, includes a Polaris Northstar Cooler and a SCUF Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Edition Valor Pro Wireless Controller, as well as a hoodie and hat.

So how can you win some of this sweet free gear? By supporting the Polaris brand and playing more Call of Duty, of course.

Once you sign up with your email address on the giveaway page, you can complete certain tasks to get additional prize entries and increase your chances of winning. These tasks and challenges will also be updated each week. This week, subscribing to Polaris’s newsletter will earn you another 200 entries, for example.

As for Call of Duty: Warzone, this free-to-play, battle royale-style game debuted in 2020. It’s available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

“With our ongoing partnership with Polaris, we’re thrilled to introduce authentic real-world vehicles to the game, offering fast, fun and dynamic new ways for players to traverse Call of Duty: Warzone,” Cody Neal, director of Alliance & Partnerships at Activision, said.
