Hartford, Connecticut, April 13, 2026 — Colt announces that Jillair Kubish has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2026, following approval by the Colt CZ Group North America Board of Directors.

Jillair brings more than 20 years of experience in the firearms industry, including over a decade at Colt, where she has served in a variety of senior leadership roles. She has led key areas of the business, notably Military and Law Enforcement programs, developing a comprehensive understanding of Colt’s operations, customers, and strategic priorities.

Prior to joining Colt, Jillair spent more than 10 years working with the U.S. Government as a recognized expert in firearms manufacturing. Her government service provided extensive technical knowledge and firsthand experience navigating regulatory, operational, and mission-driven requirements, which continue to inform her leadership approach.
In addition to her corporate and government experience, Jillair served as President of a consulting firm specializing in firearms industry strategy. In this role, she advised major global manufacturers on operational efficiency, growth initiatives, and market positioning.
Jillair is a graduate of Temple University and currently serves as a Board Member of the World Affairs Council of Connecticut.
