FirstSpear Friday Focus: IMBREX Offset Reconnaissance Chest Rig

On a reconnaissance patrol, breaking down the load to reconfigure kit isn’t an option. The FirstSpear IMBREX™ OFFSET RECONNAISSANCE CHEST RIG is a purpose-built, split-front chest rig engineered specifically for the SOF reconnaissance and patrol operator managing simultaneous movement, communications, and weapon employment without stopping to reconfigure kit. It opens laterally like a garment, not over the head, allowing the operator to don, doff, and adjust mission-essential gear without compromising the loadout. Ammunition, dual-radio carriage, End User Device (EUD) management, and medical and signal carriage for four CAT tourniquets and four NSN chemlights are integrated into a single low-profile platform built around the way SOF operators actually work.

Features:

OFFSET SPLIT-FRONT — OPENS LATERALLY, NOT OVER THE HEAD

REMOVABLE EUD PANEL — 2″ TUBES® / JUGGERNAUT-COMPATIBLE

DUAL VENTED RADIO POUCHES — PRC-152/163/148 AND MPU5

NO-ADJUSTMENT AMMUNITION CARRIAGE — 5.56 OR 7.62

INTEGRATED PTT AND CABLE MANAGEMENT — INVISO AND MPU5 COMPATIBLE

At its core, the IMBREX™ is built around four working zones: a front End User Device bridge with a removable, Juggernaut-compatible panel; an ammunition and medical core carrying up to eight 5.56 AR/M4 magazines and four CAT tourniquets; a vented comms and cable-management section compatible with AN/PRC-152, PRC-163, PRC-148, and MPU5 radios; and a movement-first H-harness with admin storage, a rear map pocket, and a front-center TUBES® dangler slot. Constructed from laser-cut nylon-on-nylon laminate with MOLLE/PALS-compatible cuts, the IMBREX™ layers over a plate carrier and is compatible with VEP, over-the-head, and FPV packs. Available in MultiCam.

Built for Special Operations Forces and the professionals who train to their standard, the IMBREX™ Offset Reconnaissance Rig delivers the communications, ammunition, and End User Device management SOF reconnaissance operators demand in a single, mission-configurable platform. FirstSpear is the premier source for cutting-edge tactical gear for military, law enforcement, and those who train. To request an estimate, visit First-Spear.com/Request-For-Estimate.
