Considering aviation and knives don’t usually go hand-in-hand, it may not surprise you that we don’t get very many aircraft-inspired EDC blades. But why shouldn’t we? Both typically specialize in hardwearing yet lightweight materials, and both deliver beautiful curves despite their utilitarian designs.

Zero Tolerance, one of our favorite made-in-the-USA knife brands (and owned by the same parent company as Kershaw), just came out with a carbon fiber folder that takes serious inspiration from one of the most iconic jets of all time.

I have seen knives claim to have taken inspiration from this or that. In this case, I can see the pedigree. Only works because of the carbon fiber. Macarta would ruin the effect.
