With the onset of winter, ski season is in full swing. If you haven’t bought a pass yet, now’s the time.

Ikon Pass will stop sales for the year on Dec. 11. That means you’ve got less than 2 weeks to secure access for this season if you plan on skiing at Copper, Steamboat, Arapahoe Basin, Palisades Tahoe, Mammoth, or any of Ikon’s 60 other destinations.

The news follows Vail Resort’s announcement that it will be pulling the Epic Pass from sale on Dec. 4.

End of Sale: Ikon Pass Options

For the 2025/26 season, the Ikon Base Pass costs $1,100, and the full Ikon is $1,600. There are discounts of $280 and $380 on the base and full, respectively, for college students, military members (active duty, reservists, and retired), and nurses. The 4-day Ikon Session Pass costs $570.

Check the Ikon website for details on blackout dates and access to all of Ikon’s destinations worldwide for the Ikon Base and Session Passes.

A single day pass at a resort like Copper Mountain typically costs around $200 when purchased online in advance. So, if you plan on skiing more than a few days this season, a season pass might be worth it.

So far, open Ikon locations in the U.S. include: Alyeska Resort (Alaska), Arapahoe Basin (Colorado), Big Sky Resort (Montana), Copper Mountain (Colorado), Eldora Mountain Resort (Colorado), Killington (Vermont), Loon Mountain (New Hampshire), Mammoth Mountain (California), and Mt. Bachelor (Oregon), among others.

Ikon also added many new international destinations for 2025/26, including five in Italy, nine in Asia, and one in Quebec.

If you’re still deciding between an Ikon and an Epic Pass (and there’s still time), check here for our expert’s analysis.
