Hello there People of the Knife, and welcome. Our October 2025 issue is on the way, the first issues have arrived in the office. This means the mailed ones are in route and print subscribers should have theirs by the end of the week.
As you can see, KNIFE Magazine is celebrating a birthday. 50 years of continuous monthly issues, starting with the original Knife World broadsheet, which ran from 1975-2105. in 2015 we made the switch to the large-format glossy that you are all familiar with.
Of course our 50th anniversary is the cover article, plus some other great ones. Dominique Beaucant has a great article on one of the OG’s of the tactical knife. David Anthony is back with a history of Case Knives, Matthew Parkinson shares the maker’s perspective, and Dennis Ellingsen has a wonderful piece on Napanoch and Winchester knives.
Of course all of or regular columns are back, Whatizzut, Edgewi$e, Bruce on the loose, AKTI, Knife Rights, Knife News and more.
