We Knife Co. Tiercel Pairs a 3.24-Inch MagnaCut Wharncliffe With Titanium Scales
November 8, 2026
We Knife Co. has introduced the Tiercel, a titanium frame lock folder with a 3.24-inch CPM MagnaCut wharncliffe blade, KnifeNews reports. A tiercel is a kind of hawk or falcon, and KnifeNews says the talon-like blade suits the name.
Key points
- Blade: A 3.24-inch wharncliffe pairing a long straight edge with a low, acute point, opened by a cutout or a clipper tab, with a jimped thumb ramp. KnifeNews says the classic pattern is left unchanged.
- Steel: CPM MagnaCut. KnifeNews notes the company has historically leaned on M390 but has lately added other steels, MagnaCut among them.
- Handle and clip: Gently contoured titanium scales with the frame lock arm on the off side, plus a sculpted titanium clip set for right-side, tip-up carry.
- Weight and finishes: 2.54 oz., in a blue and purple whorl pattern or a flamed titanium finish.
- Timing: KnifeNews said it was due to ship in late October.
Quick take
The KnifeNews writer praises the simple, uncluttered handle and calls the color options unique. The writer sees the Tiercel as an everyday carry knife, expects owners to get plenty of use from the MagnaCut blade, and says the thumb ramp gives good control for precise cuts.
