A TikTok user could be facing legal scrutiny after a video appearing to show her threatening Elon Musk caught the attention of a federal prosecutor.
The video, which was posted to someone with the account name Sarah C. Roberts, was aggregated by controversial right-wing X account Libs of TikTok and apparently noticed by Interim United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin.
In the video, Roberts appears to do a throat-slashing gesture before clarifying that she is suggesting “assassination” in regard to Musk, the multi-billionaire who has become a close adviser to President Donald Trump.
She then claims that the FBI doesn’t have enough agents to come find her before saying that she hasn’t filed her taxes in several years.

In response to the video, Martin quoted a post on X, a platform owned by Musk.
“Duly noted. Thx for letting us know. We’ll put you in the system. Talk soon, M’am,” Martin wrote.
The TikTok account appears to have been taken down in the aftermath, though it is not clear if the user deactivated it or the platform.
