A 21-year-old pregnant woman who recently moved to Washington State has disappeared under “suspicious” circumstances, according to local law enforcement.
Jackelin Perez disappeared on the evening of Sunday, Oct. 13, from her home, police in Auburn, Wash., said in a statement on Thursday. Authorities said she is six weeks pregnant.
Authorities from the Auburn Police Department say their investigation uncovered “credible evidence” that Perez was “taken from her home under duress,” and that they do not consider this a random disappearance.
Perez recently immigrated to the U.S. with her husband, who is not named in the police statement. She moved here from Guatemala and speaks limited English, police say.
The couple moved to Auburn a few months ago, APD spokesperson Kolby Crossley tells PEOPLE.
Crossley says police estimate Perez disappeared between 6 p.m. and 7 p..m. local time on Sunday, and her husband reportedly came home around 20 minutes after her disappearance. The husband did not report her missing until the following morning, Crossley added.
Crossley could not comment on what led to the suspicion that Perez was taken against her will from the home.

No person of interest has been named as of Friday afternoon, he tells PEOPLE.
“We’re looking at pretty much anyone as a suspect,” he says. Meanwhile, police are actively looking for leads from the public.
“It could be something really small like you might have seen her on a bus,” Crossley previously said, per KOMO News. “Even if it’s just a glimpse and you don’t really know, just give us a call, a general location of where you saw the person and we can look into it.”
Perez is 5 ft., 4 in., weighs 111 lb. and has a scar on her left cheek, Auburn police said in their statement.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact the Auburn PD Tip Line at 253-288-7403.
