A posthumous memoir by Virginia Roberts Giuffre will arrive this year.
On Aug. 24, publisher Alfred A. Knopf announced that they will publish Guiffre’s book, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, in fall 2025.
Giuffre, who died by suicide on April 24, 2025, was one of the most outspoken accusers of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Per a statement shared with PEOPLE, Giuffre wrote Nobody’s Girl with collaborator Amy Wallace over four years prior to Giuffre’s death.
Giuffre was 16 years old in the summer of 2000, when she was approached by Ghislaine Maxwell and recruited to work for Epstein. For the next two years, Epstein and Maxwell would traffic Giuffre for sex to associates and friends, before she eventually escaped at age 19. In August 2019, Epstein died by suicide while awaiting trial for child sex trafficking charges. In 2021, Maxwell was convicted of child sex trafficking in connection with Epstein, and is currently serving a 20-year sentence in federal prison.
Nobody’s Girl details Giuffre’s “intimate, disturbing and heartbreaking” time with Epstein and Maxwell, from Epstein’s mansion in Palm Beach to his private island and jets. Giuffre also recounts meeting many of their well-known friends, including CEOs and politicians, like Prince Andrew, according to a press release shared with PEOPLE. Giuffre sued Prince Andrew in 2021, and accused him of forcing her to have sex with him multiple times between 1999 and 2022.
The book also charts Giuffre’s life in the aftermath, when she became a vocal advocate for other sexual abuse victims. According to the statement, Giuffre emailed Wallace on April 1, 2025, and explained that it was her “heartfelt wish” to publish and share her story.

“The content of this book is crucial, as it aims to shed light on the systemic failures that allow the trafficking of vulnerable individuals across borders,” Giuffre’s email read, per the statement. “It is imperative that the truth is understood and that the issues surrounding this topic are addressed, both for the sake of justice and awareness.”

“In the event of my passing, I would like to ensure that Nobody’s Girl is still released. I believe it has the potential to impact many lives and foster necessary discussions about these grave injustices.”
The book’s publisher states that the memoir is “a remarkable narrative of fortitude in the face of depravity and despair,” per the official synopsis.
