  • Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistant, who is using the pseudonym “Mia,” is continuing her testimony on Friday, May 30
  • Mia claims the music mogul once threatened to ruin her career
  • On Friday morning, she recalled a series of messages and missed calls she received from Combs and his team in October 2015

On the 13th day of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ high-profile federal sex trafficking trial, his former assistant testified that the music mogul once threatened to ruin her career.

The assistant, who is testifying under the pseudonym “Mia,” returned to the witness stand on Friday, May 30. She recalled a series of messages and missed calls she received from Combs and his team in October 2015, when she was in South Africa with Combs’ girlfriend at the time, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.

Ventura had learned Combs was seeing another woman, Gina Huynh, and Ventura refused to speak with Combs, according to Mia. Mia said Combs and his then chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, tried to get in touch with Ventura through her.

Khorram sent a panicked message saying, “Spiral. Call me please,” before Mia was bombarded with calls from her, per her testimony.

Mia said she texted back that she didn’t want to talk to Combs because he was “slurring and saying irrational things,” including threats to damage her career.

A message from Combs sent to Mia and shown in court read, “You don’t call me now f— it all. Imma tell everything. You have 2 min. F— her.”

According to Mia, the “everything” Combs was alluding to meant that he would tell Ventura about him allegedly sexually assaulting Mia while claiming it was consensual.

Another part of the same message from Combs read, “F— abc and all lawyers. Let’s go to war.” Mia said the ABC comment was in reference to a comedy project she sold to the network, and that Combs was threatening to have the project scuttled. The project never aired, said Mia.

Mia’s testimony began Thursday, May 29, when she laid out allegations that Combs, whom she worked for from 2009 to 2017, sexually assaulted her and that she witnessed Combs beating Ventura.

Combs is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty and could face up to life in prison if convicted.
