Police suspect foul play in the disappearance of a California woman who went missing last week.

Danielle Staley, 35, was last seen around 11:23 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, near Rio Del Mar State Beach, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office said on social media.

Staley stands at 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 120 lbs., authorities said. She has blonde hair and was last spotted wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and leopard-print leggings.

In a Sunday, Nov. 9 update, the sheriff’s office said they now believe foul play is a factor and that she is “at risk.”

As part of the investigation, authorities are seeking surveillance footage taken from nearby streets between Wednesday, Nov. 5 through Friday, Nov. 7. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 831-471-1121.

“Detectives have been diligently working to track down any information and continue to do so,” the sheriff’s office said.
