Members of the jury in the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs were shown photos of rapper Kid Cudi’s car after it blew up in 2011.
Combs, who is on trial for sex-trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, sat a few feet away from Kid Cudi — whose real name is Scott Mescudi — as the Grammy-winning rapper recounted alleged threats Combs made when he learned Mescudi was dating Combs’ ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.
Combs and Ventura were in an on-again, off-again relationship for over a decade. She dated Mescudi when she was going through “a rough patch” with Combs, she previously alleged in a lawsuit against Combs.
Ventura had testified that Combs threatened to blow up Mescudi’s car after learning of their relationship — and Mescudi testified Thursday that someone threw a Molotov cocktail into his blue Porsche soon after. He said he believed Combs to be responsible.
The jury was presented with photos of the car after the explosion.

Mescudi’s testimony marks yet another series of bombshell revelations about Combs’ alleged psychological abuse of Ventura, who alleges the Bad Boy Records founder controlled her life for the entire time they were together.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
