Chicago rapper Lil Durk was arrested in Florida on a federal murder-for-hire charge, according to reports.
The arrest was reported by the Chicago Sun-Times, NBC Miami and Fox 35 Orlando, citing Broward County jail records.
Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Devontay Banks, does not appear to have been formally charged yet in federal court, but the outlets report that he is being held by U.S. Marshals.
Though details of the alleged murder-for-hire incident have not yet been released, the arrest comes as five members of a Chicago music collective known as Only the Family (OTF) were indicted on murder-for-hire charges in connection with a 2022 homicide in Los Angeles. The indictment, which was obtained by PEOPLE, was filed in the Central District of California.
Though it is not clear if Durk, 32, was arrested in connection with the same case, he is considered the founder and leader of OTF.

WGN, the Sun-Times and CBS Chicago reported that the 2022 homicide was in retaliation for the 2020 killing of rapper King Von, an OTF member. The outlets report that Atlanta rapper Quando Rondo was the target of the alleged murder-for-hire, but that his cousin was killed instead.
The indictment names five defendants but also mentions five unnamed alleged co-conspirators that prosecutors claim were part of OTF.
