Federal prosecutors allege that the Alexander brothers — three wealthy Miami Beach brothers now accused of sex trafficking — “violently raped” dozens of women over the course of nearly 20 years.

Twin brothers Alon and Oren Alexander, both 37, and their older brother, Tal Alexander, 38, were indicted in December on federal sex trafficking charges in the Southern District of New York. All three brothers spend their time primarily in New York and Miami.

In a Jan. 10 filing obtained by PEOPLE, prosecutors allege that over 40 women have accused at least one of the brothers of rape or sexual assault between 2002 or 2003 and 2021. Further, the filing claims that each brother has been accused of forcible rape by at least 10 different women and states that the brothers’ alleged conduct was “depraved.”

Attorneys for Oren, Alon and Tal Alexander could not immediately be reached for comment by PEOPLE, though NBC Miami reported that the three have maintained their innocence.

But following a search of a New York City apartment leased by Tal Alexander, prosecutors say they found several photos and videos that show Oren and Alon, as well as several third parties, recording themselves partaking in sexual activity with women who either appeared intoxicated or did not know they were being recorded.

Prosecutors cited an alleged incident during which a camera peeked over a bathroom stall to show a man, who was not one of the defendants, and a woman engaging in sexual intercourse.

“When the woman looked up and saw the camera, she hastily began to get up, saying ‘no,’ and stating, in sum and substance, that she does not want ‘all of [his] friends,'” prosecutors allege.

The brothers are all due to appear in federal court in New York City on the afternoon of Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Oren and Tal are high-profile luxury real estate moguls, while Alon is an executive at their family’s private security firm.

In an indictment unsealed last month, prosecutors accused the brothers of having begun dating women they met through social contacts before allegedly raping them.

Victims were lured by the promise of luxury experiences or material goods, alleged prosecutors, who further contend that the women were drugged.
