An organized shooting that killed a bride and wounded three others at a wedding in France also left one gunman dead while another is on the run, according to local police.
The dramatic scene unfolded early Sunday when four masked shooters opened fire at the wedding in Goult, a village in southeastern France, according to CBS News, BBC, and the French newspaper Le Parisien.
PEOPLE previously reported that the bride was killed in the shooting, which police say appeared to be “targeted” and planned, according to Goult Mayor Didier Perello.
The shooting also injured a 13-year-old child, the groom, and the sister of the bride, according to the outlets.
The groom reportedly ran over one of the gunmen with his car as he attempted to flee with his bride and the 13-year-old inside the vehicle. That gunman died, according to CBS News.
The three other shooters fled the scene, leading to a massive manhunt involving helicopters and dozens of police officers, according to the BBC. The outlet reported that two of the suspects were arrested later Sunday while the last remaining gunman is still on the run.
