A Nevada woman is accused of fatally shooting her boyfriend during a photo shoot in Las Vegas.

Allysandra Blea, 20, was charged with murder with use of a deadly weapon on Aug. 26 in connection with the death of 23-year-old Mark Gaughan.

Just before 5 a.m. on Aug. 23, Las Vegas police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Nassau Drive after a report of a male shot. At the scene, officers discovered Gaughan lying on a sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.

Medical personnel rendered him aid, but he died at the scene.

Gaughan was allegedly taking photos of Blea, who was posing with a gun by a vehicle when the shooting occurred.

“During the photo shoot the gun discharged and the victim was shot,” the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department wrote in an Aug. 28 press release.

Blea allegedly told police the shooting was accidental and she didn’t think the gun was loaded, per an arrest report, according to FOX5.

According to the report, investigators later found messages on Blea’s social media accounts revealing a “fascination with firearms,” per KSNV.

“In several conversations with various accounts, there was talk about her love of shooting guns, owning guns, building her arsenal and shooting people in the face,” according to court documents, per KLAS. “There were several photographs of Allysandra holding various firearms (handguns, revolvers and rifles) in different poses to include the firearm pressed against her head, against stuffed animals’ heads and shooting bottles at an unknown location.”

At one point during a conversation, she allegedly said, “I wish I could shoot people with real guns and get away with it,” per FOX5.

She also allegedly talked about shooting prostitutes and homeless people, per FOX5.

In a previous exchange between Blea and Gaughan, Gaughan proposed using a dummy to shoot at, to which Blea allegedly responded they had to shoot “someone real.”

“If it’s only one a night the police will remain clueless,” according to the arrest report cited by FOX5.

Blea has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
