A mother of three who authorities in England say was killed by a 13-year-old girl was reportedly found with stab wounds to her face, neck and back.

According to the BBC, an inquest has heard that 43-year-old Marta Bednarczyk was found with multiple wounds after a house fire and was pronounced dead in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, at around 3:30 a.m. on March 10.

According to the BBC, Bednarczyk’s cause of death was determined to be stab wounds, Northampton Coroner’s Court heard. Results from further tests are reportedly still pending.

Senior coroner Anne Pember reportedly said Bednarczyk had been identified through DNA, adding that her body had not been released yet. The next inquest hearing is set to take place on Oct. 8.

PEOPLE has contacted Northampton Coroner’s Court for comment.

PEOPLE previously reported that a 13-year-old girl was accused of murdering a mother of three and then setting a home on fire.

The teenager, who can’t be named for legal reasons because of her age, is charged with murder and arson with intent to endanger life.

According to the BBC, the girl is being held in youth detention and has not yet entered pleas.

A provisional trial date to be heard before a High Court judge is set for November. 

The 13-year-old first appeared in court on Wednesday, March 12. The BBC reported at the time that she was clutching a teddy bear during the hearing.

PEOPLE previously reported that authorities arrived at a Wellingborough home in the early morning hours of March 10 after receiving a report about a house fire.

After having gaining access to the property, police found the body of Bednarczyk.

They then arrested the child on March 12, after a forensic post-mortem investigation allegedly “gave the preliminary cause of [the victim’s] death as being as a result of sharp force injury,” police said in their news release.

In a statement released by police, family and friends of Bednarczyk paid tribute.

“Marta was the matriarch of our family. She was a very caring woman, a loving mother, and a supportive friend who could never do enough for those she loved,” they said.

They added that she immigrated to the United Kingdom from Poland back in 2012 and worked in a warehouse “in order to bring money home for her family.”

In addition to her three children, she leaves behind her long-term partner, Eugene, with whom she was engaged.

“She was so loved by all of us and the tragic circumstances in which she died will haunt us forever. We don’t think we will ever come to terms with it,” the statement continued.

“We are heartbroken at the thought of never seeing our lovely Marta again. She will be missed beyond words, and she will never be forgotten.”
