Authorities are seeking a suspect accused of killing a man while at a wedding in central California.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said that it had issued a warrant for the arrest of Salvador Rizo Pacheco, 53.
Police said they responded to a wedding celebration in Kerman, Calif., on Sunday, Oct. 4.
The victim, identified as 63-year-old Martin Tovar Zalazar, had severe injuries and was taken to the hospital where he later died, according to the sheriff’s office.
Police did not provide any additional information about what preceded Zalazar’s death or how they identified Pacheco as a suspect, but said they had interviewed witnesses.
Authorities also did not specify what injuries Zalazar sustained that led to his death.

Pacheco is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 265 lbs., police said. Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating him.
