A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the sudden disappearance of a 37-year-old woman who went missing in the Welsh capital, Cardiff, on Saturday, April 12.
Paria Veisi was last seen at approximately 3 p.m. local time when she left her workplace in the Canton area of the city, South Wales police said in a release on Wednesday, April 16.
The authorities added that they were “concerned” for the welfare of Veisi, given that her disappearance was “totally out of character”.
Police added that they had arrested a 41-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman in connection with the case and that pair remain in custody.
Veisi, who has long, black, curly hair, was wearing a red top, black zip-up hoodie, black pants, and sneakers, and was carrying a small handbag when she went missing, police said, noting that her disappearance was reported the following day.

Police added that Veisi was seen on CCTV leaving the Canton area of Cardiff on Saturday, April 12, driving her black Mercedes GLC 220. Her vehicle was subsequently located on the evening of Tuesday, April 15, on Dorchester Avenue, Penylan, approximately six miles away.

South Wales Police urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact them, including footage from cell phones, CCTV cameras, doorbells, or dash-cams.
South Wales Police did not immediately reply to PEOPLE’s request for information.
