Jack Nicholson’s eldest grandchild, Sean Norfleet, was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Aug. 5, per arrest records obtained by PEOPLE.
Sean Norfleet, who was born Sean Knight Nicholson, was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge. The 29-year-old was accused of attacking an unidentified woman. The U.S. Sun was the first to report the arrest.
He was booked and released on bond of $50,000 on Tuesday, Aug. 5. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Aug. 26. If found guilty, he could face up to four years in state prison, per The U.S. Sun.
PEOPLE has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department and Jack Nicholson’s representation.
Sean is the eldest son of Jennifer Nicholson. Jennifer shares Sean and Duke, 26, with her ex-husband Mark Norfleet. The former couple were married between 1997 and 2003.
Jennifer is the eldest child of Jack, and is the daughter of the 88-year-old Oscar winner and his ex-wife Sandra Knight.
Once a film studies major at Emerson College, according to an interview with his brother Duke in The Hollywood Reporter, Sean is now a music producer, while Duke is an actor who appeared in Us and Dreamland.

Jack has five other children: Caleb Goddard, 54, with actress Susan Anspach, Honey Hollman, 43, with model Winnie Hollman, Lorraine, 35, and son Ray, 33, with actress Rebecca Broussard, and Tessa Gourin, 30, with Jennine Gourin.
He is the grandfather of Jennifer’s sons, as well as Honey’s three children, Walter, 14, Daisy, 13, and Hank, 8.
