The brother of influencer Lola Doll is speaking out after she was shot multiple times outside of her home in Georgetown, Guyana.
According to a statement by the Guyana Police Force, Doll — whose real name is Lolita Callender — was allegedly shot outside of her home on Saturday, Sept. 6, at about 11:35 p.m. local time. Per the statement, she had received treatment at Georgetown Public Hospital after she “sustained gunshot wounds to her neck, face, hands, and right leg.”
Speaking to Guyana newspaper Stabroek News at the hospital, Doll’s brother recalled the shooting.

“I was inside at home when I hear gunshots and run out to see was what, only to see me sister lying in she car and blood, if you see blood, pouring out,” Doll’s brother described. “We rushed her here… I can’t tell you where all she was shot, but she was shot in like her face, her side, I don’t know where else… Blood, so much blood everywhere. She lost a lot of blood but she is a fighter.”
Doll’s brother added that he could not spot the alleged shooter because he was focused on getting his sister to the hospital. Several other family members and friends gathered at the hospital the night Doll was admitted, the outlet also reported.
