A French former public servant is accused of drugging more than 200 women, causing them to urinate during interviews.
Christian Nègre was indicted on several charges including sexual assault and drugging in 2019, according to The Guardian, Le Monde and BFMTV.
The outlets reported that Nègre was working at the French Cultural Ministry. According to Le Monde, he was formerly the deputy director of human resources.
Nègre is reportedly accused of drugging the women with a diuretic by spiking their coffees or teas.
Le Monde reported, citing the court, that Nègre allegedly kept a detailed log of the incidents, referred to as “P Experiments.” The records allegedly contained photographs.
One of Nègre’s accusers spoke to The Guardian about the experience. Sylvie Delezenne told the paper that she was offered a coffee and then asked to go on a walk.
“But I felt an increasing need to urinate,” Delezenne told The Guardian. “My hands were trembling, my heart was palpitating, beads of sweat ran down my forehead and I was turning red. I said: ‘I’m going to need a technical break.’ But he kept on walking.”
Eventually, Delezenne says, she relented and began urinating, alleging that Nègre offered to shield her.

“I thought that was strange,” she told the paper.
The paper also spoke to Louise Beriot, a lawyer for multiple women accusing Negré.
“Under the pretext of a sexual fantasy, this is about power and domination over women’s bodies … through humiliation and control,” she alleged.
Despite the charges in 2019, Nègre has still not yet gone on trial. It is not immediately clear if he has entered a plea.
