A Florida firefighter was arrested after she allegedly dumped 75 painted tampons on her ex-boyfriend’s lawn.
Danielle Franze is charged with two counts of stalking, according to Volusia County jail records. Public salary records indicate that Franze is a firefighter in Orange County.
Fox 35, WFTV and the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported an arrest affidavit, which alleges that Franze threw several tampons into the front yard of her ex-boyfriend on Sept. 29.
Surveillance footage from the home reportedly caught a person dumping the tampons from the back of a truck while the ex — also a firefighter, according to the News-Journal — was at work.
Fox 35 reported that the tampons were painted red and scattered across the lawn.

It is not immediately clear if Franze has entered a plea or retained an attorney.
Citing the arrest affidavit, Fox 35 reported that the ex and his new girlfriend told police that Franze was unhappy that the two were together and that she’d allegedly made angry social media posts about them.
“Given the fact this plan was thought up, tampons were purchased, painted red to make them look used, loaded in the vehicle and thrown into the yard, demonstrates a course of conduct which evidences a continuity of purpose with the sole purpose to harass (victims) and serves no legitimate purpose,” police wrote in the affidavit, according to the News-Journal.
