Elijah Blue Allman’s divorce battle continues.
In new court documents filed June 20 and obtained by PEOPLE, his estranged wife Marieangela King brought Allman’s famous mother, Cher, into the case, claiming the icon helped fun their “lifestyle” before they split.
In the filing, King, 37, requested spousal support and for her attorney’s fees to be covered amid her divorce from Allman, 48, while claiming that she experienced “a high standard of living” — including traveling in Europe and staying in 5-star hotels, flying first and business class aboard airplanes and having access to “private pools, gyms, chefs, maids, [and] a therapist” — during their marriage. King’s filing also described dining at high-end restaurants such as Mr. Chows, Nobu and Chateau Marmont while she was with Allman.
King listed her occupation as a “singer/songwriter/entertainer, housewife” and claimed that she would need a “minimum of 10 years work” at an “executive level salary” in order to sufficiently support herself “at the marital standard,” per the documents.
King also claimed in the filing that Allman “receives regular payments” from music residuals, trust funds and “major contributions coming to him from family and his mother,” adding that he is able to reside at family properties and his needs are met, unlike hers, and that she has “been a homemaker and supportive spouse for the past 13 years” supported by Allman, and that it will “take time” for her to return to the workforce and achieve the marital standard.
In the docs, King claimed that Allman was receiving “a minimum of 20,000 [dollars] a month from two separate accounts.” And in a declaration from King at the end of the filing, she claimed that “financial support directly from his mother” was used to fund their lifestyle.
A rep for Cher did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

In King’s filing, she claimed she is unable to currently support herself and requests “temporary spousal support,” which she says is “below my marital standard.” She requested $6,500 per month to cover basic living expenses and a car, along with $10,000 to hire an attorney.
“I am not requesting excess or luxury,” King’s declaration stated. “I am requesting the Court’s help in obtaining clarity and fairness, because without full financial disclosure and the ability to respond, I cannot safely or meaningfully engage in these proceedings.”
In a separate June 20 filing obtained by PEOPLE, King claimed that she currently has only $3,651.96 in liquid assets to her name.
Allman and King got married in December 2013. King filed for divorce from Allman in March, citing irreconcilable differences.
“We had a beautiful 13-year journey, filled with memories I’ll always cherish. I know we’ll remain friends, and Elijah will always hold a special place in my heart,” King told PEOPLE in a statement at the time. “As we turn the page to this next chapter, we kindly ask for privacy and truly appreciate your understanding.”

King previously filed for divorce from Allman in 2021. In January 2024, Allman filed to dismiss it “without prejudice,” which was granted that February.
Allman was recently hospitalized on June 14 after authorities found him “acting erratically.” A source told PEOPLE that Cher, 79, was doing “everything she can to help her son and help him get well.”
“I want to state, without hesitation, that I will always root for him,” King told PEOPLE at the time. “My support is steadfast and comes from a place of deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show.”
Allman was released from the hospital days later.
