A former personal assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs testified Thursday that she was sexually assaulted by the music mogul and endured a work environment that she described as violent and toxic.
“The highs were really high and the lows were really, really low,” the woman, testifying as “Mia,” said at Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial on Thursday, May 29.
During her testimony, Mia said she worked for Combs from 2009 to 2017, and that her role included reading his mood each day because it dictated everything.
She described the work environment as “toxic,” and listed several occasions where Combs was violent toward her.
“He’s thrown things at me,” she testified. “He’s thrown me against the wall. He’s thrown me into a pool.”
Even though she had her own place to live, she didn’t spend much time there, she said. While she worked for Combs, she said, she often stayed at his home, where she testified she was not allowed to lock her door or leave the house.
Once, when she went out with friends, after Combs went to sleep at 2 a.m., she said Combs’ security staff texted her that they were coming to get her.

She said her responsibilities also included protecting Combs “at all times” and always staying attached to her Blackberry. One time, she testified she worked 5 days straight without sleeping and felt like she was having a physical breakdown.
There were also times where Combs would require she stay by his side for more than 20 hours without asking her to do anything, she testified. Other times, she would have to do anything from doing his taxes or even cracking his knuckles, she said.
Mia is referred to as “Victim-4” in Combs’ five-count indictment, which accuses him of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.
Mia said she previously worked for designer Georgina Chapman, who was married to disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein, and for comedian Mike Myers before she joined Combs’ team.
When she interviewed for the role with Combs, she said she was brought to his apartment to meet him, and that he answered the door in his underwear. She said he eventually got dressed.
