Diddy Used Hammer to Try to Break Down Cassie’s Door After Showing Up at Her Apartment Following Hotel Assault: Testimony

After Sean “Diddy” Combs brutally assaulted Casandra “Cassie” Ventura in a hotel lobby in 2016, he showed up to her apartment and tried to break down her door with a hammer, her friend testified.

Following the attack, which was caught on a hotel video camera showing him kick her, drag her and throw an object at her, Ventura had a black eye, her friend Kerry Morgan told a Manhattan courtroom on Monday, May 19.

“She had her hoodie over her head and she was kind of slumped and dropped her bags,” Morgan said.

About 30 minutes later, Morgan testified, Combs showed up to Ventura’s apartment and tried to break down her door with a hammer.

“He was hitting the door with a hammer to try and open it,” she testified. “He was yelling. I could hear him.”

On one occasion, Combs allegedly assaulted Morgan herself using a wooden hanger.

“He came up behind me and choked me, and boomeranged a wooden hanger around my head,” Morgan testified, per the outlet.

She eventually signed a non-disclosure agreement with Combs for $30,000, she testified.

Morgan’s testimony came on the sixth day of Combs’ sex-trafficking and racketeering trial.

Jurors were in the court for the sixth day on Monday, listening to accounts from several witnesses including Ventura herself, Danity Kane band member Dawn Richard and a sex worker who alleges he saw Ventura after hearing Combs allegedly assault her.
