Police have released new doorbell footage and images as the search continues for missing father Travis Decker, who is suspected of killing his three young girls over the weekend.
On Wednesday, June 4, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) shared an update on Facebook, posting a recent video and pictures of Decker from the days leading up to the planned visitation he had with his daughters on Friday, May 30, which they never returned from.
Paityn Decker, 9, Evelyn Decker, 8, and Olivia Decker, 5, were found dead on Monday, June 2, at 3:45 p.m. local time after authorities located their father’s car near the Rock Island Campground in Chelan County, Washington state, the Wenatchee Police Department said in a release on Tuesday, June 3.
The girls most likely died by asphyxiation, according to a preliminary report filed with the Chelan County Superior Court, Fox 13 Seattle reported.
The CCSO said in Wednesday’s news release, “We have obtained recent video footage and pictures of Mr. Decker, which are attached to this release. However, these videos and photos are from the days leading up to his visitation began with the girls. These are the most recent photos and videos we have that reveal his last known appearance.”
The doorcam footage shows the missing man approaching a house wearing sunglasses and a light T-shirt.
Amid the ongoing manhunt for Decker — who is currently wanted for three counts of murder in the first degree and kidnapping in the first degree — police have been asking the public to come forward with any information.
“The team of Law Enforcement and support personnel working the case continue extensive efforts while acting upon potential leads,” the CCSO wrote in the release, adding, “As we take an ‘all hands’ approach to investigating the murder of three young girls, the team morale remains elevated as we work toward locating Travis Decker.”
“Investigators are working collaboratively throughout the county, and across the state, to contact and interview all known associates of Mr. Decker to further develop leads and his potential next moves. Additionally, more teams are being deployed to different sites Mr. Decker was known to frequent in the area,” police added.
“New information has revealed Mr. Decker is well versed in wilderness survival and capable of spending days or even weeks in the wilderness on his own and with very little equipment. Although this can be a challenge while searching for him, our personnel are well equipped and prepared to seek and apprehend him,” the release stated.

The CCSO told the public of the suspect, “If you have seen him, or believe to have seen him, within the last several days, please contact 911. It is unknown if he is armed at this time but he should be considered dangerous and should not be contacted or approached.”
The girl’s mother, Whitney Decker, had reportedly “expressed concern” about her daughters after they failed to return home by 8 p.m. on May 30 after being picked up by Decker that day around 5 p.m., per Fox News, citing a detective.

According to court documents obtained by KIRO 7 News, Whitney had filed a petition of divorce on Nov. 14, 2022 in Chelan County court, noting at the time that no protection order or restraining order was needed and that there were allegedly no concerns about “abandonment, neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, assault, or sex offense,” per the outlet.
However, on Sept. 20, 2024, Whitney’s attorney filed a modification to the parental schedule, the outlet noted, with the documents allegedly stating that Decker had “neglected his parental duties towards a child” and “has a long-term emotional or physical problem that gets in the way of his ability to parent,” per the publication.

Whitney also allegedly asked that Decker be evaluated for “anger management/domestic violence, and a full psychiatric evaluation by a licensed psychiatrist to include any potential diagnoses,” the outlet stated, as well as wanting him to have counseling sessions at least twice a month.
The documents alleged that if Decker didn’t follow through with these things, the “mother will have the choice to further limit visitation,” KIRO 7 News reported.
