Celebrity hairstylist Jenn Lagron has suffered “devastating injuries” after she was allegedly hit by a drunk driver.
Lagron was struck by a vehicle while walking in California and sustained multiple injuries, including “a severely damaged arm” and “a fractured vertebrae in her neck,” according to a GoFundMe page set up by her friend, fellow hairstylist Brandon Pietsch.
“Our beautiful friend Jenn was hit by a drunk driver while walking as a pedestrian. She suffered devastating injuries, including a severely damaged arm, the very arm she relies on for her career as a hairstylist, and a fractured vertebrae in her neck,” the page reads. “While we are endlessly grateful that Jenn survived, her road to recovery will be long and incredibly difficult.”
The New York Post notes that the incident happened while Lagron was walking along Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.
Pietsch shared that Lagron has “at least a year of rehabilitation ahead” and asked for donations to cover her “extensive” medical bills, physical therapy, and rent, as she steps away from work.
“Jenn has always been a light in the lives of everyone around her full of heart, creativity, and kindness. Now she needs our help more than ever,” Pietsch added on the page.
The GoFundMe has so far raised over $54,000 with a goal of $60,000.
Lagron’s celebrity clients include Selena Gomez, Stassie Karanikolaou, Shay Mitchell, Chrissy Teigen and Kristin Juszczyk.
Fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk, who is the wife of San Francisco 49ers Kyle Juszczyk, 31, wrote on her Instagram Stories after the incident, “My girl @jennlagron was hit by a drunk driver last night. Sick to my stomach. She is the most amazing person and incredibly talented hair artist,” per Daily Mail.
“She’s going to have a long road to recovery, so truly anything will help,” Kristin added while posting a clip of Lagron styling her hair.
In an update shared on Lagron’s GoFundMe page on Tuesday, April 29, Pietsch added, “Her surgery went well last night — everything went according to plan, and the doctors said it went smoothly.”

“Jenn is resting today after starting physical therapy. We are so grateful for the success of both of her surgeries and are hopeful for a strong recovery ahead. She will be in a wheelchair for some time, as they had to replace nerves in her arm with nerves from her leg,” Pietsch explained.
He added that Lagron is “off to a great start and feeling very hopeful.”
