A woman who worked as a personal assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs testified on Thursday, May 29, that she once awoke to him sexually assaulting her.
The woman, who is testifying at Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial under the pseudonym “Mia,” said the alleged assault occurred in 2009 or 2010 at Combs’ home in Los Angeles.
Mia said she was on the bottom of a bunk bed when she was awakened in the middle of the night by “the weight of a person” on top of her.
“I remember it was sort of like him telling me, ‘Shhh,'” Mia said through tears. “It happened so fast.”
“I just froze, I didn’t react,” she said, adding that she felt terrified, confused, ashamed and scared.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Madison Smyser asked her if she had wanted to have sex with Combs, Mia said, “No,” and added, “It was very quick.”
“Don’t remember how it ended, but I remember he wouldn’t leave a job unfinished, so whenever he was satisfied is when it ended,” Mia testified.
It was one of several instances of sexual assault by Combs that she alleged had occurred sporadically, typically when his girlfriends, including Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, weren’t around.
“Each time I thought it was the last time and if it happened again, I’d try to get out,” Mia said.
Mia described another time when she alleged Combs forced her to perform oral sex at his apartment in Los Angeles while she was on the floor in his closet packing his bag.
“Next thing I look up, he’s standing right in front of my face,” she said. She struggled to speak as she described the alleged assault.
“I was just frozen,” she testified.

Smyser asked her how she felt at that time.
“Scared as a sheep,” Mia responded.
Smyser also questioned why she didn’t say no.
Mia said Combs also assaulted her in the bathroom on a private jet. She said she had used the bathroom and when she opened the door to exit it, Combs was at the door and pushed her back into the bathroom. She said she could not remember the details but she remembered “trying to squiggle out of it.”
“I couldn’t say no to him about a sandwich,” Mia said. “I couldn’t say no to him for anything.”
She said she feared she would become a target and that Combs threatened to tell Ventura, “as though I had anything to do with it.”
“I was going to die with this,” Mia said. “I didn’t want anyone to know ever.”
Combs is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution and could potentially face up to life in prison if convicted. He has pleaded not guilty.
