A judge in Arkansas sentenced a mother to 120 days in prison after she allegedly admitted to giving her children marijuana.
Deanna Sue Woods, 36, was arrested back in January after a worker with the Department of Human Services spoke with her 6-year-old daughter and learned that the mother “had been allowing her children to ingest Marijuana and THC edibles,” according to a copy of the probable cause affidavit obtained by PEOPLE.
That child was then drug tested and found to have THC in their system, at which time the DHS contacted a detective with the Brookland Police Department, according to the affidavit.
Woods was then taken into custody the following day by that detective, and according to the affidavit, allegedly agreed to speak with him after being informed of her Miranda rights.
Detective Dustin Norwood wrote in the affidavit that Woods told him she had given three of her children — ages 6, 10 and 15 — both honey and chocolate with THC.
She also allegedly said that she allowed the 6- and 10-year-old children to use her vape pen.

The affidavit also said that Woods allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana around her 1-year-old toddler and used the substance herself while she had been breastfeeding that child.
Woods agreed to write down her statement, according to the affidavit, and was then charged with 12 counts each of endangering the welfare of a minor in the first degree and introduction of a controlled substance into the body of another person.
She said she did this to deter her children from using marijuana, according to the affidavit.
Police booked her into jail, where she spent 60 days before posting bail.
Woods will now serve another 60 days after being sentenced to 120 days in jail following a hearing on June 25 where she agreed to enter a guilty plea to one count of each charge.
She will also have to take parenting and substance abuse classes and is to have no contact with her children unless she has the approval of their guardian and DHS.
